There are detailed Instructions included in your downloads. Most people who encounter issues have run into the following:
- Issue: Font does not appear properly or a password is requested.
► File is open in a PDF viewer other than Adobe Reader. Follow the Instructions to ensure you open the file in Adobe Reader.
► The PDF files are being used on a smartphone or tablet. The PDF files must be used on a desktop or laptop with the full, free version of Adobe Reader (available for free download for both MAC & PC at www.get.adobe.com/reader).
► On your desktop or laptop, you have downloaded the Adobe Reader app from the MAC or Microsoft app store, not the full version of Adobe Reader. Ensure you download the full version of Adobe Reader from the link provided in your Instructions file in #1 or click on this link www.get.adobe.com/reader.
- Issue: Changes cannot be saved and file cannot be printed.
► The file is open in your web browser. If the file pops up in your web browser after download, save it to your computer and open it in Adobe Reader following the Instructions.
- Issue: Error message: “Adobe Reader could not open ‘filename.zip’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded).”
► You are trying to open a zipped folder in Adobe Reader without first extracting the graphics from the zipped folder. Zipped folders end in .zip. You can read below about unzipping files under Downloading Files.
